UVA-Wise advances to Region XII Tournament

Won tonight over Milligan 7-2. Jones threw a complete game and didn't allow an earned run. Brad Robbins and Matt Duffey are tearing the cover off the baseball right now. UVA-Wise plays King tomorrow at 3 p.m. at Hunter Wright.

That all conference team is a joke to me. How Duff didn't make it is beyond me. Fritz from Milligan got robbed as well. Laboy for UVA-Wise is hitting like .430 and didn't make the team. The regional is a six team tournament, none of the independents in Region XII are good enough to get consideration and the KIAC only has one team with a winning record so they only get to send two teams.

Just talked to Ruthie, and she said it was 2-2 in the top of the 6th. Hope they pull it out. It is always nice to win a game!
